Stellan Skarsgård for Pirates of the Caribbean Sequel

Coming Soon reports that Stellan Skarsgård (Ronin, Amistad) has signed on to play the role of Orlando Bloom's father 'Bootstraps' Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels.
"We are going to shoot around the Los Angeles area as well as in the Bahamas and the West Indies," says an enthusiastic Skarsgård. "I'm playing the old pirate 'Bootstraps' Turner... it should be fun, I enjoyed the first one."
Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are all signed up to return.
