Renate, the Talkback on articles is really for people to do just that leave a comment on the article or something additional. We do try to respond when people ask a question, but due to the number of articles with lots of comments each day...this is not always possible. For questions you really want an answer to you can contact the site via the contacts form in the left menu, you will then get a reply from the site. In respect of Adrian Paul we just do not have him on the radar for this. Might be we are missing something, we should find out in a few months.

So far, doesn’t it seem buzz on 'star' appeal from MGM seems bad, could be the downfall of 007. I agree that Jackman or Ferrell would draw $$$, Owen (to me too much like Lazenbey)...but Adrian Paul (Hear Me Out) in my humble opinion is that safest choice. Here's why...He's been out of the public’s eye for a while (unless your a real fan) and “EveryDayFolks” would see him as an unknown (or at least a “What was that guy in?”). 2. He’s not too young (ie, J. Law, Macgregor, etc.) so if the film did bad (unlikely) he'd just be seen as a 'Daltonesque' type bond (publics opin. Tim, not mine). LASTLY, the 'Sean C.' aspect of him is marketable...+ the older Adrian gets, the more so. It's truly the safest move for Brocolli/MGM yet could turn out being the best decision since Pierce. Trying to think Practically rather than Fanatically… What Do Ya Think?

ps. Last I heard (back in 1992) A. Paul still was 'Very' interested. I think he would be Sir Sean's choice too. (ala: Highlander connection + lookalike = publicity again for Old Sean)

I think Adrian Paul would be INCREDIBLE as Bond, and so do quite a few others online. :)

We've got a petition going at http://www.m80teams.com/?QzoxMTEzOjI0MzUzNA== to make sure the powers that be know we are serious when we say we'd show up the theater to see Adrian Paul as the next 007.

If you agree please take a moment to sign the petition.

THANKS!

Gerard Butler as the next Bond! He can act better, he is HOT, athletic, TALL, he is the most handsome of ALL current and past candidates. If the powers that be want to introduce Bond to a whole new generation they better go with Butler. Young, old, men and women respect and adore this actor. We'll see just how smart the decision makers really are.
