Zodiac Killer Movie Close to Greenlight

The serial killer is though to have murdered at least 37 people in and around San Francisco from 1966-78.Variety reports that David Fincher is in talks to direct from a script by Jamie Vanderbilt; who is adapting Robert Graysmith's 1986 novel "Zodiac" and its sequel, "Zodiac Unmasked: The Identity of America's Most Elusive Serial Killer Revealed." Rather portentously the final letter from the killer to the press read:Dear Editor
This is the Zodiac speaking I am back with you. Tell herb caen I am here, I have always been here. That city pig toschi is good but I am bu [crossed out] smarter and better he will get tired then leave me alone. I am waiting for a good movie about me. Who will play me. I am now in control of all things.
