Updated: War of the Worlds Tripods Concept Art?

UPDATED: It is in fact not a design for Spielbergs War of the Worlds according to the artist himself after Dreamworks Fansite recently confirmed.
I think there is high possibility that they are indeed conceptual designs for Paramounts War of the Worlds. Reasons being is that all the other conceptual arts on his website are from films he has done or is doing. It is either a one off or the real deal or an abandoned concept.

I can unofficially confirm that this is indeed the second level agreed concept visual for the new tripod, the colouration and some minor limb alterations have taken place since but to all intense and purpose this is it folks.
