Kiefer Sutherland for Spy Thriller The Sentinel

Variety reports that "S.W.A.T." director Clark Johnson is attached with a script written by George Nolfi ("Ocean's Twelve").
Sutherland will play a Secret Service agent enmeshed in an furtive affair with the first lady. When another agent is murdered, he becomes a suspect and is caught up in what may be a plot to assassinate the president.
"The Sentinel" is being produced by Michael Douglas, shooting is due to start in Toronto this May.
