Liza Minnelli in Hospital After Fall

American actress Liza Minnelli (58) has been hospitalized after falling out of her bed in her home in New York.
"She was sleeping and she rolled out of bed," People magazine reported police on the scene as saying.
"She hit her head. Her bodyguard got nervous and he called 911. He said he couldn’t get her up.
"She wasn’t bleeding. She was on the floor."
Minnelli has been entangled in a series of bitter legal battles most of the year. With her her former bodyguard suing over alleged assault and battery, as well claiming he was forced to have sex with her in order to keep his job.
Her absent husband, David Gest, is also taking legal action. Looking for around $10 million over claims she beat him, causing extensive head injuries. Minnelli in turn has counter sued both parties.
