Was this written by a retarded box turtle? Whoever wrote this thing needs to get a G.E.D. pronto.
Oh no... I think the script is going to be written by the same guy who was responsible for Catwoman. Why the heck?? The production team have one shot at getting this right. That's it! Put it like this, the Transformers is second only to Star Wars when it comes to global armies of followers, fans, artists, web links, storywriters, unofficial comics, 3D animators, etc. In Japan, it's an ongoing saga. The reason why the cartoon has been considered for a movie only recently is because of the special effect marvels of modern times. We know Spielberg can do the magic and literally transform the cult yet decaying 80s cartoon into a production that will not only instantly revive the plastic toy market but go the further than ever to jolt those thousands of people who have being lying dormant for years waiting to see the robots on the big screen, and have endlessly spent hours creating storylines and adaptations in their heads. We are counting in you Hollywood. You must not fail. This project has more potential than the best action movie screened EVER! Research, research, and research meticulously you must. There is a myriad of creativity and plot you can throw into this film but at no cost can you damage our expectations or let down our hopes. There is 20 years or so worth of say we are entitled to. Don't do a one-time, low budget, botch job PLEASE.
I agree with Sunny. I hope this movie is true to form and reflects the characters and plotline of the original series. If they can get the original voices as well, even better! I heard rumors of Tom Hanks, but I hope he doesn't take the voice of Optimus Prime. That belongs to Peter Cullen.
ArmageddonMan,
Press release means sent from the studio. I guess that Spielberg guy does need a G.E.D. you JACKASSS
