Uma Thurman May Have Role of Ulla in The Producers

The ProducersThe New York Post is reporting that Thurman has indeed taken the role and that Nicole Kidman is officially out of the running. Mel Brooks had said Kidman would be his first choice, but a leg injury and her commitment to the Australian movie Eucalyptus has meant she could not accept.Thurman's agent has not confirmed this casting as yet.In the film version of the smash Broadway hit musical, Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom come up with a sure fire money making idea - produce the biggest Broadway flop in history entitled Springtime for Hitler.The movie is due to start filming in February.
