Are u all really interested in acting or are u all really interested in being famous? Let me just INFORM u that show biz is one of the toughest jobs in the entire world! If u r really interested u should no it takes a ton of wrk + u have to get used to rejection. I have been professionaly acting for a yr. and a half and i have done very little. dont think 'well i would be better than her' bcause i have done better than most actresses my age. im just saying its tough and there is a huge amount of compitition. if u really interested u have to enter the real world.

If you take a look at the date of this article - you will see that it is quite dated.
A large portion of Pirates 3 was filmed at the same time as Pirates 2 (now playing in movie theaters).
Only a small portion of Pirates 3 needs to be shot (or reshot) and will soon go into the post production cycle so that it can meet the scheduled Memorial Day 2007 release date.
If you dream of being in the movies, don't give up on your dreams. But do forget about being in Pirates 3.
I am 14, and go to stagecoach, Johnny Depp's acting has really inspired me. I would love to work alongside him in the movie POTC3 as i have longed to be an actress since i was little. I think he has amazing talent, and I know it would make my career worthwhile meeting him and working with him. I know I could only be an extra at this point in filming, but is there anyway anybody could sort anything out for me? I really do want this, and I know it is part of my life doing the thing I love most. I have alot of confidence and will do almost any part - it is of no embarrassment to me. I Love Orlando Bloom and would Love to work with him in any movie! Just wanted to say...after reading everyones post.. it doesnt take a genious to realize that your lame excuses for movie material are not worth a glimpse at all.
Take your fatuations and move on. Just loving an actor doesnt mean you are capable of creating the character necessary. Especially when you are working with experienced professionals..who when it comes right down to it, would fire your ass just because of your obsessive ramblings of love and devotion. Get a real job.

Could I have a part in a future Pirates of the Caribean movie?
I'm 13 and I could get adopted by Will and Elizabeth. Elizabeth could choose not to have kids because she wants to keep her figure. So she adopts a girl around 13 or 14. During the movie the daughter falls in love with Jack. She had been hanging around Jack on the Black Pearl for a long time while on the adventures with Jack, Will, and Elizabeth. Will and Elizabeth leave her with Jack one night and thats when she tells Jack that she has feelings for him. Jack can't believe it but he has feeling for her too. She tells Jack that he is too old for her, and not to tell her mother and father. That night Will comes into a cabin on the Black Pearl and finds her sleeping. Will starts to tell her about the problems him and Elizabth have been having. The daughter sits on his lap and listens to what he has to say because she has never been loved by anyone this much. After the conversation Will gives her a kiss goodnight.
The daughter continues to be around Jack Sparrow and they both grow to each other. And after Will and Elizabeth have to return to Port Royal, Jack gives the daughter a kiss goodbye.
If you choose to use this idea please use me as the character. I've always wanted to be in a movie with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, and this would be my chance. It doesnt have to be a huge roll, but I would highly enjoy being in a Pirates of the Caribean movie. I've always wanted to meet Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp because they are fabulous actors and are very handsome.

Why are open auditions always for adults over 18? (well, not always, but most of the time... especially for films kids really want to be in - Like POTC!) and why are they always in America somewhere... I live in England, and I would really like to see some auditions over here for kids and teens (mainly teens - maybe 15 yrs ;)!) aside from Harry Potter, because I missed those.. oops... I know there are soOo many people out here who want to be in these films, like Pirates, so come and do auditions over here, you need British people for POTC anyway, aside from Johnny Depp who pulls off an AMAZING accent... so, yeah, come over here and make our dreams come true!
PS, there are new Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow books out, and one of them (Book 3, the Pirate chase) includes a character called Arabella... She's Jack's newly appointed first mate, she's a barmaid who pulled him out of a brawl, and it would be cool to use her as an idea... so... come over and do auditions in England, for 15 - 16 year olds, who have brown hair, and hazel eyes... like me...

If you click on 'Knightley asked for Kiss' on the right hand side, there's a little message board, and Johnny, Orlando, Keira and Gore have left messages and been talking!!!! I don't know whether I believe it or not, but if it is true... OMG! That's unbelievable!!! Check it out, because I found that some bits didn't really add up, like no way in hell would a celeb leave their address on a website, or give their kid's e-mail addy (especially Johnny - why would his kid have one anyway?) and thye just wouldn't have time! plus, Orlando doesn't know how to use computers, and I'm just finding it really hard to believe.. saying your birthday and place of birth doesn't really help because everyone knows it anyway, and it's so easy to find on the net... oh well... Hi, my name is Malin and I'm from Sweden, I am 14 years old and I'm a big fan of pirates of the caribbean. I LOVE acting, but I live in little town, far away from the big cities so I have really never got the chance to show how good I am, sometimes I act in front of the mirror, often 2 different people talking to eachother, always in english, I don't have any problems pronounceing english or american. I could think of acting anything in these movies, just so I can proof to all of you that I am really good!

dear megan, i do not know of any upcoming movies but as a movie actor the first thing to do is to get an agent, there should be lots of angencys where you live, call up the agency you like and ask for an interview, if they like you, you will have to sign a contract and they will find you movies, commercials, and tv shows to audition for. But trust me, it is very very hard to get these parts, i have an agent myself and just tried out for a commercial, i did not get the part unfortunately. Fame does not come easily at all, it requires a huge amount of luck. Good luck getting an angent!

being in pirates of the carribean would be so cool! i'm from scotland, sadly the open auditions for the uk always seem to be in london! i was in a play called honk! woo! and i got in when i was 9, having had no proper experience, just drama classes at school. then i got to go to the acting classes at the byre, which i went to each week and i tried so hard. i dont go anymore cos the times changed and i cant make it. which is a shame. well, im 13 and would love a role, jack sparrows daughter? elizabeths sister, from an affair of her father?

They should have auditions in other places aside from London, I mean, there are other talented people in oter places in England... Orlando came from Canterbury, but he had to move to London so he could go to one of the best Drama schools there.. why are people always talent spotted in London?! don't get me wrong, I am glaaaaad he was spotted! It's not fair for those people who can't get to London for the casting calls though... sorry, I've had my little moan now... x
No Melissa, agents do not cost a penn,y exept they get like 10% of the money you make from each job they get you, but technicaly that is not paying. And it is not hard at all to get one, i told my parents I wanted an agent, I went to an interview, and the next week I got one. And seriously, Aice is right atleast we are doing something to fulfill our dreams.

I just have this image in my head of a load of girls chasing Jack like that scene in POTC2 where he's being chased by the cannibals!! as if he has his own fan base like Johnny! That would be hilarious! A load of girls in wedding dresses, desperate for him to marry them! Haha.. I can just see it now! They should do that! Have Jack being stalked by loads of teenage girls sneaking onto his ship pretending to be guys etc.. it would be funny! See, that's one idea which lets all the girls be equal! But im still so scared that Will and Elizabeth aren't going to end up together, eeeek, im so scared, i swear i would cry if they didn't, I started sobbing as soon as i got in the car on my way back from the movie theater remebering how sad Will looked when he saw Elizabeth kissing jack, and when he had spent the whole movie trying to save her, and when he got whipped, that was so sad, but his back did look really sexy! Hey my name is Cori and I am 14 years old, I have seen both the movies of Pirates of the Caribbean, the first one maybe more the the second one. I would do anything to have one audition to be in a movie with three of my FAVOURITE actors; Johhny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom. If i were to get an audition for the movie, i don't know what I would do, I know that if I got the Opportunity to do any small extra part, I would NOT let anyone in the cast of the brilliant Pirates of the Caribbean down. It would be a dream come true if I got this HUGE opportunity. It might even help my family out just a little bit, and it could be my big break for my life long dream to be on the big screen with some of my favourite actors. Like I said before I would do anything to get an audition, and to be able to meet Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom.
