Writer Hired for Will Ferrell Vehicle Bronze God

Columbia Pictures have hired Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck to write Bronze God.
The movie will serve as a comedy vehicle for Will Ferrel.
Ferrell will play a lifeguard who realizes his dream by securing a wildcard entry into a beach volleyball tournament.
"Will's about the funniest guy out there, and he's even funnier shirtless, in a Speedo and with a savage tan," Gregory told the Variey. Huyck said Ferrell is easy to root for - a necessity in an underdog story.
