Matthew Vaughn May Direct The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Matthew Vaughn, most recently worked on UK crime thriller Layer Cake, is in negotations to direct big screen adaptation of classic TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. for Warner Bros. Pictures.The original 1960's Man From U.N.C.L.E. series starred Robert Vaughn and David McCallum as secret agents Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin. Working for the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement.The movie version is expected to follow the series premise of pitting the two agents against international crime syndicate THRUSH. expect a big budget action thriller.Source: Variety
