Nicole Kidman is dropping out of Mel Brooks' big screen adaptation of musical The Producers. Kidman's spokesperson said on Thursday that the actress wouldn't have enough time to rehearse the intricate song and dance routines in The Producers before she heads into her next film, the Australian-set Eucalyptus (M&C broke the news of that films casting issues), opposite Russell Crowe and Geoffrey Rush.You can read more on the theatre version in the Arts database.Source: Variety
