Ving Rhames and Kip Konwiser have struck a deal to pruduce films together.The first feature will be Animal, a gritty urban drama that stars Rhames. David Burke is currently directing the film in Puerto Rico from a script by David C. Johnson.Rhames plays a violent felon nicknamed Animal, who is released from prison on a technicality. Led to reconsider the futility of the life he is leading, Animal tries to go straight to keep his son from following in his footsteps.Terrence Dashon Howard, Chazz Palminteri, Jim Brown, Wes Studi, Beverly Todd, Faizon Love, Paula Jai Parker also star.Source: Variety
