Hero and House of Flying Daggers director Zhang Yimou has begun shooting his latest movie Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles, which has started filming in southwest China.Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles is set in the 1920s, a Japanese man travels to China with his dying son to learn the local opera of Yunnan Province.The movie stars Japanese veteran Ken Takakura as the father and Kiichi Nakai as his son. Local actor Jiang Wen also stars.Source: Variety
