I have been waiting for a movie like “Carpool Guy” all of my life. All of my favorite soap opera stars from “The Young and the Restless”, “General Hospital”, and others, all in a feature film. Lauralee Bell, Corbin Bernsen, Robert Blesse, Sharon Case, Jeanne Cooper, Patrika Darbo, Elyse Dinh, Anthony Geary, François Giroday, and Taye Hansberry are all going to be in this movie. What a cast! Public Media Works (www.publicmediaworks.com) has really made a movie that the public wants to see. I am especially looking forward to the scene where Corbin takes Viagra and looks at pictures of Paris Hilton. This will be better than “LA Law” and “Major League” put together. I preordered my DVD of “Carpool Guy” from www.carpoolguy.com and I am so excited that I am going to bust if I don’t get it soon!

Although I have not seen the movie yet, I was an extra in the donkey show scene. I played bandito #4. I am wearing a huge sombrero and eating a burrito, so look for me. I was going to have a line where I say “Aye Carumba” like Bart Simpson, but they gave that line to a guy in a lobster suit instead. So much for my big break. LOL.

I can’t wait to see this movie. I have to say that I'm a little bit skeptical about some of the other reviewers’ comments. Most of them were written before the film was completed and some of them sound pretty outlandish. I actually met Corbin Bernsen on the set and he said that he was going to sodomize me with a cucumber if I didn’t leave him alone, so maybe there is some truth to the other reviewer’s statement above about the carrot. We can only hope.

does anyone know if the dvd for 'carpool guy' is out yet? I wanted to see this movie in the theatre, but it looks like the film is going straight to video :(

my 8 year old son wants to see it and i was also wondering if there is anything objectionable like satanists, nudity, beastiality, vomiting, pedophiles, torture, or inbred killers. we saw 'major league' and 'the dentist' last week. although they were both good, my son was shoving knives and pencils into kids’ mouths at school the day after he saw the 'dentist'. his best friend was bleeding for a while after my son shoved a rusty compass into his mouth during math class. i should have learned my lesson after i let him watch 'american psycho'. lol.

if anyone has an info on the movie it would be great.

p.s. corbin bernsen, if you read this, I just want you to know that i'd like to have your baby. you are hot!

wow! there are some jerks who post on this board. the person named 'Tamara Braun(ex-Carly) Fan' has to be the biggest jerk of all. Julie, i wish i knew the answer to your question about tamara. General Hostpital is one of my favorite soaps and i was sad to see her go.

can whoever keeps posting these childish messages to the board please stop. some of us soap opera fans would like to actually discuss this movie instead of having to read all of your stupid fake messages. I'm sure it's just one pimply faced kid who has no life and nothing better to do with his time. I fear for your future!

I've traveled to see the premieres in Las Vegas and LA. i actually got to meet corbin bersen. he is so nice. and the movie was great. I'm pretty sure that due to the strong anti-canadian and anti-french message in this film, it will not be playing in canada. i have to hand it to corbin bersen for ignoring political correctness and making a controversial movie with a powerful message. the scene where they dress up the midget in a hockey outfit and pour maple syrup and labatts on him is both shocking and heartbreaking. and i can not even think about the scene where they dress the midget up in a lobster suit and beat him with french bread as they sang 'o canada' without feeling ill, half of the theatre was in tears. its a brutal movie to watch, but it is visually stunning and not to be missed. it reminded me of the 'the passion of the christ', with a canadian midget replacing jesus. also, watch for the paris hilton cameo appearance as the leader of the bandito gang.

if you can't see it at the theatre, definitely get the dvd. i hope you enjoy the movie as much as i did :)

LOL...I'm not sure which Carpool Guy Soap Opera Girl is talking about. I AM going to the premiere in Boston and I have been following this movie very closely and I don't know anything about midgets being in this movie..and definitely not Paris Hilton!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

Anyways, to answer your question Caz no this movie has not been released in Canada yet. If you live close to the border though there are premiere's scheduled in Detriot and Boston

Guys,

I just saw it. Trust me you don't want to see this movie. I was reading the boards and went in thinking there would be midgets and sodomy and child molestation. Imagine my dissapointment when it was about a bum working in the corporate world. This movie sucked. Didn't even include the famed 'bandito' donkey show scene.

There was a scene where Corben cleaned out his dogs butt with his dinner knife, but that doesn't come close to the level of filth I was expecting from this.
