Ray Screenwriter's Next Project to Star Usher

Screenwriter James White (Ray) next project is a drama starring Usher Raymond for Dimension Films.
Usher will lead the cast in the coming-of-age film about a kid from the streets who finds salvation through music.
"It's going to be a departure from what you've seen Usher do," White told Variety. "It's going to be a really heavy drama that starts with him seeing life through a rose-colored lens and it becomes the wrong man at the wrong place at the wrong time."
