Rosario Dawson Cast in Rent

Rosario Dawson has been cast as the female lead role of Mimi Marquez in Revolution Studios' Rent.
Dawson will join many of the original cast members from the Broadway production, with Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Jesse Martin, Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel all in negotiations.
Rent tells the story of a group of bohemians struggling to survive in New York's East Village.
Christopher Columbus is directing this adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning Jonathan Larson musical.
