Mark Ruffalo for Truman Capote Biopic

Mark Ruffalo has signed up for the role of the killer Perry Smith in Warner Independent Pictures' Every Word Is True for director Doug McGrath.
Every Word Is True is a biopic of Truman Capote. Concentrating on the relationship the author had with convicted criminals Smith and Hickock, who's crimes he described in his novel, "In Cold Blood". The two murdered a family while trying to rob them. the family had no cash so the two shot each in the face, point-blank with a shotgun.
Ruffalo takes over the part that was to be played by Mark Wahlberg.
