Friday Night Lights director Peter Berg will direct The Kingdom for Universal Pictures.Michael Mann is producing with Matthew Michael Carnahan writing the script.The film follows the story of a team of U.S. government officials who work with a Middle Eastern government to investigate a recent bombing.Mann will produce the film through his Forward Pass company.
