i've just started reading the minds ofblyy miligan, and even though i'm only on chapter 4, it is realy good. can'y wait for the movie to come out!

Billy Milligan is currently living in the LA area. I would love to meet him someday. I would like to get my hands on the other book 'The Milligan wars'. Anyone know how I can get a copy of that book (publish in Japan I heard) without going to Japan ?

i read all the series of books about this man. they r must read books.

by the way someone of u asked where to buy Milligan Wars without going to japan, and i guess u can get one from Amazon.com japan. i think they can send the book overseas.

I read the 2 series of Billy Milligan. It's so amazing, very emotional story especially when he goes to Lima Hospital. Make me very sad, angry, etc with
all of the staff at Lima and also the persons who responsible until Billy have
to go to the 'Jerk' Hospital. I can wait for the movie. I hope the actor who will play as Billy Milligan can get the side of Billy's emotional.

Just got done reading the book about Billy Milligan and I found myself getting irate at how the hospitals (Lima) and staff had treated him. It makes you wonder how people can treat others that way. I also found his story heart wrenching. I just hope that he is doing better now than he was then. I too would like to meet him.

I just finished reading both books too.. I read the Chinese versions I bought from Hong Kong (I think they were released in Taiwan). i don't think the English version of the 2nd book is released anywhere yet?
as you guys said, it was a really emotional read.. I nearly cried when I reached the part when Billy attempted suicide near the end of the 2nd book. i really admire his talent and his courage. And yes, it was an irritating and frustrating experience to discover the dark sides of a 'civilized' society that claims democracy, freedom and human rights... it's been a long way.

Umm, I read the book as well (The Minds Of Billy Milligan), and you know what people? He raped three women.
People seem to get bogged down with either he is a brilliant con man or suffers from multiple personality disorder. Is it so hard to believe both are true?
I can't understand the strange hero worship that he commands. It would seem obvious that he does suffer from some problem. It also seems obvious that he committed despicable crimes.
It would be great if prisons were more humane, but someone needs to be held responsible for a crime they commit. If that person has got a busload of people in their head? Well that bus is bound for prison with everyone on board.

after Sybil Dorsett, this is the 2nd time i read the same story and I am still reading the book in indonesian version of Billy Milligan and it s make me courrious to know whats the ending...i bring it anywhere i go...i hope to see the film soon

He did not rape three women. That was the personality of Adalana. The other personalities took vows of celibacy and the only person Billy actually wanted to have sex with was Marlene.

AHHH!!! OMG me and my sister have been waiting on this as long as i can remember!

we really really really suggest RYAN GOSLING for the role of Billy. Hes a terrific actor, and i think hes one of the few if that that could give the character justice. I think he could definitely do the part, without it looking too generic or fake. Everyone needs to suggest him on any site posting, lets get Ryan in there!!!! is there any place you can make a suggestion like that and actually get it consider? or should we just keep our hopes up lol

i just found out from the Columbus Dispatch's article (2007) from the internet that billy lives somewhere in LA and he's bankrupt and hasn't contacted his mom for 15 years.

I already read the 2 books. Really great. And I think Billy is not a bad guy, he is a victim. I hope, where ever he is now, he's having a great life. He deserves happiness after all these times.

If anyone of you can find any clue where's billy now and how is he doin now, please let us all know, ok.

Let's support Billy.
