Disney Looking to Pick up NFL Story Invicible

Walt Disney Pictures is in negotiations to buy spec script Invincible for Disney-based Mayhem Pictures to produce.Invincible, a Brad Gann script, is based on the real life story of Vince Papale, who became a member of the Philadelphia Eagles football team as a 30-year-old in an open tryout. He's the oldest rookie to make an NFL team.Victor Constantino and Nikki Reed are executive producing. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray, the duo behind The Rookie (starred Sean Astin) and Miracle, will produce the film for the Disney.Source: Variety
