Pendragon Pictures have announced in the latest press release that Timothy Hines Version of 'The War of the Worlds' has already shot. Going under the production cover name as 'The Great Boer' this has been kept quite a secret to a lot of people. This version of 'War of the Worlds' has said to have been in production for 3 years now, after being put on hold for some time, due to 9/11. This is a totally different version of 'The War of the Worlds' that Steven Spielberg is currently making, and will be set true to the story, at the turn of the 20th century and is based in England.

''Pendragon Pictures proudly announces the completion of principal photography of H.G. WELLS' THE WAR OF THE WORLDS. Set in Wells' intended turn-of-the-century English locale, the movie is the world's first authentic adaptation of the H.G. Wells classic 1898 novel.
MIPCOM is expected to give the official release date to the motion picture this month, but the film is expected for a spring 2005 release, which will be very close to the release of Spielberg's version.Check out images to the film here.
