By James Wray Oct 1, 2004, 7:15 GMT
Justin Timberlake and Emile Hirsch are to star in New Line Cinema's Alpha Dog, to be directed by Nick Cassavetes. The movie is inspired by the real-life story of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer (Hirsch) who had the dubious honour of the youngest men ever on the FBI's most wanted list.
Timberlake will play the good friend of Hirsch's character, while Sharon Stone will play the mother of one of the leads. More casting is expected very soon since the movie starts filming on October 25.
Sidney Kimmel Entertainment are producing the film and they have a couple of other project on the go. One being Joshua Michael Stern's Neverwas, where Stern is making his directorial debut with a script he wrote. The film is shooting in Canada and stars Aoron Eckhart, Nick Nolte, Brittany Murphy and Ian McKellan.
The other movie is Bart Freundlich's Trust the Man. the comedy/drama is looking to cast Julianne Moore and David Duchovny. Filming would start sometime in November.
