Geoffrey Rush Joins Crowe in Cast of Eucalyptus

Geoffrey Rush will star opposite Russell Crowe in Fox Searchlight's Eucalyptus, an adaptation of the Murray Bail novel.
It's a story of a plantation owner who prizes his daughter and his his trees. When she comes of age he sets up a competition or rule that only a suitor who knows the name of all his trees can marry her.
Although dismissive of most of them his daughter, Ellen, begins to have encounters with one in particular. As the story goes on so these encounters become more erotic.
