German actress Antje Traue has boarded the cast of Legendary Pictures' "The Seventh Son."
According to Variety, Sergey Bodrov is directing.
Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander have been cast.
Lionel Wigram is producing with Legendary's Thomas Tull and Thunder Road's Basil Iwanyk.
The film is based on "The Spook's Apprentice," the first novel in a series titled "The Wardstone Chronicles" written by Joseph Delaney.
A teenage farm boy named Tom, who is the seventh son of a seventh son, learns that he is a wizard that can see supernatural spirits that others cannot.
Traue will be seen as the villainess Faora in the Superman reboot "Man of Steel," to be released June 14, 2013.
