'Safe House' takes holiday box office

Universal's Denzel Washington-Ryan Reynolds action film "Safe House" won the four-day President's Day box office weekend with $28.4 million.
According to Variety, "Safe House" has a domestic cumulative of $82.6 million.
Sony's "The Vow" placed No. 2 with $26.6 million for a domestic cumulative of $88.5 million.
Warner Bros.-New Line's "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" came in at No. 3 with $26.4 million for a domestic cumulative of $59.5 million.
Sony's "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" opened in the No.4 spot with $25.7 million.
Fox's "This Means War" opened in the No. 5 spot with $20.4 million.
