Dominic Cooper has replaced Clive Owen in 'Cities'.

The 'Devil's Double' actor has signed up for the drama alongside Anil Kapoor, Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom after the 'Layer Cake' star was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.

'Cities' - which will be directed by Roger Donaldson - is described as a 'cautionary tale about greed and ambition' and is set in three different locations with each city telling a different story, which eventually collide to show how the fortunes of others impact on other individuals across the globe.

In New York, a hedge fund manager who will now be played by Dominic has everything he could ever want - money, sex and power - but is constantly looking for more, while in Mumbai, a cop fights against corruption between property speculators and his devious colleague, who will be played by Anil.

Orlando and Kirsten will play a young couple in London struggling to get together the money for a deposit on their first home.

Dominic's agreement to join 'Cities' now leaves his role in 'Motor City' in doubt.

The action thriller - which will also star Gary Oldman and Amber Heard - was due to start shooting around the same time as 'Cities' so the British actor may have to drop out in order to fulfil his new commitment.
