A day after Demi Moore dropped out due to exhaustion, Chloë Sevigny has joined the cast of Millennium Films' Linda Lovelace biopic "Lovelace."
According to Variety, Amanda Seyfried will play 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace.
Peter Sarsgaard will play Lovelace's abusive pornographer husband Chuck Traynor.
The cast also includes Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Romeo Brown, Eric Roberts, Adam Brody and Debi Mazar.
James Franco will cameo as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.
Moore was to make a cameo as feminist icon Gloria Steinem.
Sevigny ("Boys Don't Cry," "Big Love") will play a feminist journalist searching for information on the real Lovelace.
Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are directing with shooting underway in Los Angeles.
The script was written by W. Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin, which was based on Eric Danville's biography "The Complete Linda Lovelace."
Jason Weinberg, Jim Young, Heidi Jo Markel and Laura Rister are producing.
Lovelace shot to fame with the landmark 1972 porno movie "Deep Throat," which was one of the first porn movies to reach into mainstream culture.
Lovelace, whose real name was Linda Susan Boreman, later denounced her pornography career and became a spokeswoman for the anti-pornography movement.
She died in 2002 following a car crash in Denver.
There is another Lovelace biopic starting production in February, "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story," with Malin Akerman playing Lovelace.
