'Jack the Giant Killer' gets release date pushed back

Warner Bros. has moved back the release date of New Line and Legendary Pictures' retelling of "Jack and the Beanstalk" titled "Jack the Giant Killer" to March 22, 2013.
According to Variety, the original release date had been June 15, 2012.
Bryan Singer is directing.
The cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, John Kassir and Ian McShane.
Christopher McQuarrie, Mark Bomback and Darren Lemke worked on the screenplay.
Neal Moritz and David Dobkin are producing.
The film centers on the kidnapping of a princess (Tomlinson), which threatens the long-standing peace between men and giants. A young farmer (Hoult) is forced to lead a rescue mission to the giants' kingdom.
