Veteran screenwriter John Logan will adapt the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons" for GK Films with Columbia Pictures distributing.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Graham King and Tim Headington will produce for GK Films.
"Jersey Boys" chronicles the rise of the 1960s American pop group The Four Seasons (Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi). Their iconic hits include "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like a Man."
The musical opened on Broadway in 2005, won four Tonys in 2006, and has generated more than $1 billion in ticket sales.
GK Films produced Martin Scorsese's critically acclaimed "Hugo," which Logan wrote the script for.
His other credits include "Any Given Sunday" and "Gladiator."
