Richard Schiff boards 'Man of Steel'

Richard Schiff has joined the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' Superman reboot "Man of Steel."
According to Variety, shooting is underway in Vancouver and Chicago.
The film will open June 14, 2013.
The cast includes Henry Cavill as Superman as well as Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Ayelet Zurer.
Zack Snyder ("300," "Watchmen," "Sucker Punch") is directing.
Christopher Nolan is producing with his wife Emma Thomas, as well as Charles Roven ("The Dark Knight") and Deborah Snyder ("Watchmen," "Sucker Punch").
David S. Goyer ("Batman Begins") wrote the script, based on a story he conceived with Nolan.
Plot details are being kept under wraps.
Schiff is best known for his Emmy-winning role as Toby Ziegler on NBC's "The West Wing."
