Gothan City is in major trouble in the fantastic new trailer for Warner Brothers "The Dark Knight Rises."

The final Christopher Nolan "Batman" film, set for release in the Summer, looks a gritty affair, with the fate of the caped crusader and the city of Gotham seemingly hanging in the balance.

"The Dark Knight Rises" stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell and Daniel Sunjata.

"The Dark Knight Rises" hits screens worldwide from July 20th, 2012.

The film will take place eight years after the events of "The Dark Knight" and will introduce the characters of Selina Kyle (Catwoman) and Bane—portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy—two villains from the Batman mythology.
