Holly Hunter boards Diablo Cody film

Holly Hunter has joined the cast of the untitled Mandate film marking the directorial debut of screenwriter Diablo Cody.
According to Deadline.com, Cody will direct from her own script.
The film had been previously titled "Lamb of God."
Russell Brand, Julianne Hough and Octavia Spencer have been cast.
Mason Novick is producing.
The film centers on a religious woman (Hough) who loses her faith following a plane crash and moves to Las Vegas to let her wild side show for the first time in her life. She eventually rediscovers her faith with the help of a new acquaintance (Brand).
Hunter, who won an Oscar for "The Piano" in 1993, recently concluded her run on TNT's "Saving Grace."
