Josh Lawson has joined the cast of the Warner Bros. political comedy "Dog Fight."
According to Deadline.com, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are starring with Jay Roach directing.
Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Baker, Katherine LaNasa and Brian Cox have also been cast.
Ferrell and Adam McKay are producing through their Gary Sanchez Productions along with Roach and Galifianakis.
Chris Henchy ("The Other Guys") and Shawn Harwell ("Eastbound and Down") wrote the script.
The film centers on two rival politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) in a South Carolina congressional district.
Shooting begins this month in New Orleans with an August 10, 2012 release date planned.
Lawson will be seen in the upcoming Showtime series "House Of Lies" that premieres in January.
