'Immortals' takes weekend box office

Relativity Media's 3D epic "Immortals" won the domestic box office over the weekend as it debuted with $32 million.
According to Variety, Sony's Adam Sandler family film "Jack and Jill" opened in the No. 2 spot with $26 million.
Paramount-DreamWorks Animation's cartoon "Puss in Boots" placed No. 3 with $25.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $108.8 million.
Universal's action-comedy "Tower Heist" finished in the No. 4 spot with $13.2 million for a domestic cumulative of $43.9 million.
Warner Bros.' Clint Eastwood film "J. Edgar" opened in the No. 5 spot with $11.5 million.
