Max Irons goes with 'The Host'

Max Irons has booked one of the two male leads in Open Road Films' sci-fi film "The Host."
According to Variety, Andrew Niccol is directing the big-screen adaptation of the 2008 novel by "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer.
Saoirse Ronan ("Hanna") has booked the lead female role.
Jake Abel is considered to be the front runner for the other male lead.
The script, which Niccol adapted, centers on the invasion and takeover of Earth by a group of aliens known as Souls.
Nick Wechsler is producing along with Meyer, Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz.
Shooting begins in February 2012 in Louisiana and New Mexico with a March 29, 2013 release date set.
Irons was recently in "Red Riding Hood."
