'Puss in Boots' wins second straight week at box office

Paramount/DreamWorks Animation's 3D cartoon "Puss in Boots" won its second straight week at the domestic box office with $33 million.
According to Variety, the film has a domestic cumulative of $75.5 million.
"Puss in Boots" dropped only 3% from its opening weekend gross, a record for a non-holiday film. The previous record holder had been in May 1996, when "Twister" dropped 10%.
Universal's "Tower Heist" opened in the No. 2 spot with $25.1 million.
Warner Bros.' "A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas" opened in the No. 3 spot with $13.1 million.
Paramount's "Paranormal Activity 3" came in at No. 4 with $8.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $95.3 million.
Twentieth Century Fox's "In Time" finished in the No. 5 spot with $7.7 million for a domestic cumulative of $24.2 million.
