Brian Cox in for a 'Dog Fight'

Brian Cox is in final talks to join the cast of the Warner Bros. political comedy "Dog Fight."
According to Variety, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are starring with Jay Roach directing.
Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Baker and Katherine LaNasa have also been cast.
Ferrell and Adam McKay are producing through their Gary Sanchez Productions along with Roach and Galifianakis.
Chris Henchy ("The Other Guys") and Shawn Harwell ("Eastbound and Down") wrote the script.
The film centers on two rival politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) in a South Carolina congressional district.
Shooting begins this month in New Orleans with an August 10, 2012 release date planned.
Cox, who originated the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter in Michael Mann's 1986 film "Manhunter," was last seen in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."
