Jason Sudeikis has joined the cast of the Warner Bros. political comedy "Dog Fight."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are starring with Jay Roach directing.
Sarah Baker and Katherine LaNasa have also been cast.
Ferrell and Adam McKay are producing through their Gary Sanchez Productions along with Roach and Galifianakis.
Chris Henchy ("The Other Guys") and Shawn Harwell ("Eastbound and Down") wrote the script.
The film centers on two rival politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) in a South Carolina congressional district.
Shooting begins in November with an August 10, 2012 release date planned.
Sudeikis has had a busy 2011 with roles in "Hall Pass," "A Good Old Fashioned Orgy" and "Horrible Bosses."
He just began his seventh season on NBC's "Saturday Night Live."
