'Magic Mike' could land at Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. is in discussions to distribute the independent drama "Magic Mike."
According to Deadline.com, Steven Soderbergh is directing from a Reid Carolin script.
Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matthew Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Riley Keough, Cody Horn, Olivia Munn, Gabriel Iglesias, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Betsy Brandt have already been cast.
The story revolves around the title character Magic Mike (Tatum), a stripper and dancer who mentors another stripper (Pettyfer).
The script is based on Tatum's experiences as a male stripper when he was 19.
Nick Wechsler and Gregory Jacobs are producing with Tatum and Carolin through their 33andOut Productions.
Shooting is underway in Los Angeles.
Warner Bros. distributed Soderbergh's last film "Contagion."
