Noriega embarks on a 'Last Stand'

Eduardo Noriega has joined the cast of Lionsgate's action-western "The Last Stand" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
According to Variety, Jee-woon Kim is directing from a script by Andrew Knauer.
Jeffrey Nachmanoff and George Nolfi did polishes.
The film has a January 18, 2013 release date set.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing with shooting set to begin October 20 in New Mexico.
Schwarzenegger had been attached to the drama "Cry Macho" but dropped out in May after a scandal broke out over his fathering a child with his housekeeper.
"The Last Stand" centers on a border-town sheriff (Schwarzenegger) and his inexperienced deputies who must catch a recently escaped Mexican cartel boss.
Peter Stormare, Zach Gilford, Jaimie Alexander and Rodrigo Santoro have also been cast.
Noriega can be seen in the Butch Cassidy film "Blackthorn" opposite Sam Shepard.
