Julia Stiles joins 'Silver Linings Playbook'

Julia Stiles has joined the cast of The Weinstein Company's romantic comedy "The Silver Linings Playbook."
According to Deadline.com, David O. Russell ("The Fighter") is directing from his adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel of the same name.
Harvey Weinstein is producing.
The cast includes Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lawrence, Jacki Weaver and Chris Tucker.
The story centers on a former high school teacher (Cooper) who is released from a mental institution into his mother's care after a bout with depression. He sets out to win his ex-wife's affections back and becomes involved with a troubled neighbor (Lawrence).
Stiles is coming off her Emmy and Golden Globe nominated role as Lumen Pierce on Showtime's "Dexter."
