David Oyelowo takes 'One Shot'

David Oyelowo is in final talks to join Tom Cruise in Paramount Pictures' "One Shot."
According to Variety, Christopher McQuarrie is directing from his own script.
A February 8, 2013 release date has been set.
Shooting will begin later this fall.
Rosamund Pike was recently cast as the female lead.
The film is based on the 2005 Lee Child novel of the same name that centers on Jack Reacher (Cruise), an ex-Army police officer who becomes involved in a case where a sniper is accused of murdering five people in a shooting.
Cruise is producing with his partner Paula Wagner through their Cruise/Wagner Productions along with David Ellison's Skydance Productions; Dana Goldberg and Gary Levinsohn through Mutual Film Company; and Don Granger.
Oyelowo can be seen in two of the bigger successes of this summer; "The Help" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."
