Josh Brolin is an 'Oldboy'

Josh Brolin will star in Mandate Pictures' remake of the South Korean thriller "Oldboy."
According to Deadline.com, Spike Lee is directing.
The original "Oldboy" was released in 2003 and directed by Chan-wook Park.
It won the Grand Prize Jury Award at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
The film follows a man who is kidnapped and held in a cell for 15 years without explanation. He is released and goes on a quest for revenge against the people responsible.
Mark Protosevich adapted the script.
Roy Lee and Doug Davison are producing through Vertigo Entertainment and Lee's 40 Acres & A Mule Productions.
The project had been set up at one point with Steven Spielberg directing and Will Smith starring.
Brolin was last seen in "True Grit."
