Taylor Schilling joins 'Argo'

Taylor Schilling has joined the cast of the Warner Bros. political thriller "Argo."
According to Variety, Ben Affleck is directing and starring in the film.
Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Bryan Cranston, Tate Donovan and Nelson Franklin have also been cast.
George Clooney and Grant Heslov are producing through their Smoke House shingle along with David Klawans and Affleck.
The film is based on a "Wired" magazine article by Joshuah Bearman, published in 2007 and titled "How the CIA Used a Fake Sci-Fi Flick to Rescue Americans from Tehran."
Chris Terrio wrote the screenplay.
The film is set during the occupation of the American embassy by Iranians in 1979. A joint rescue effort was organized by the CIA and the Canadian government to extract six U.S. diplomats.
The CIA used a disguise expert named Tony Mendez (Affleck) and came up with a scenario that involved the six diplomats being part of a Hollywood crew scouting a big-budget Hollywood epic titled "Argo," that enabled them to flee the country.
Schilling will play Affleck's wife.
She'll be seen opposite Zac Efron in the upcoming romantic drama "The Lucky One" and starred on NBC's "Mercy."
