Warner Bros. gives 'Gravity' a date

Warner Bros. has set a November 21, 2012 release date for the 3D space thriller "Gravity," starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alfonso Cuaron is directing from a script he co-wrote with his son, Jonas and Rodrigo Garcia.
David Heyman is producing through his Heyday Films along with Legendary Pictures.
The film revolves around two astronauts (Bullock and Clooney) fighting to survive on a remote space station after satellite debris wipes out the rest of their crew and destroys most of the station.
Robert Downey Jr. had been attached to the project throughout a torturous eight month casting process for the female lead that saw Angelina Jolie, Marion Cotillard, Scarlett Johansson, Blake Lively and Natalie Portman attached to the role before Bullock committed.
