Zack Snyder signs up for 'Photograph'

Zack Snyder will direct the action-thriller "The Last Photograph" with Sean Penn and Christian Bale attached to star.
According to Variety, Snyder has been developing the film since 2007.
It will be Snyder's next film after completing work on Warner Bros.' Superman reboot "Man of Steel," which will be released in June of 2013.
Kurt Johnstad wrote the script for "The Last Photograph" based on an idea from Snyder.
Both men collaborated on "300."
The story focuses on an ex-special ops soldier (Penn) who comes to Afghanistan seeking vengeance for the murder of his brother and family in an attack. He seeks the help of the war photographer (Bale) who survived the attack and captured it in a photo.
Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing through their Cruel and Unusual Films along with Hollywood Gang's Gianni Nunnari.
