By Adnan Tezer Jul 26, 2011, 19:12 GMT
Nick Nolte is in talks to join Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf in Voltage Pictures and Wildwood Enterprises' adaptation of the Neil Gordon novel "The Company You Keep."
According to Variety, Redford will direct from an adapted script by Lem Dobbs.
The thriller centers on a former Weather Underground militant (Redford) living in anonymity who has been on the FBI's most wanted list for 30 years. He is forced to go on the run when a young journalist (LaBeouf) exposes his true identity.
Redford and Bill Holderman will produce through their Wildwood Enterprises along with Nicolas Chartier of Voltage Pictures.
Production begins this September in Vancouver.
Nolte was recently in Warner's remake of "Arthur" and plays the father of Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton in the upcoming mixed martial arts drama "Warrior."
