'Man of Steel' to fly in 2013

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures will release their Superman reboot "Man of Steel", with Henry Cavill as Superman, on June 14, 2013.
According to Variety, a December 2012 release date had been planned but no specific date was ever set.
The cast includes Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Christopher Meloni and Harry Lennix.
Zack Snyder ("300," "Watchmen," "Sucker Punch") is directing with shooting set to begin later this summer.
Christopher Nolan will produce with wife Emma Thomas, as well as Charles Roven ("The Dark Knight") and Deborah Snyder ("Watchmen," "Sucker Punch").
David S. Goyer ("Batman Begins") wrote the script, based on a story he conceived with Nolan.
Plot details are being kept under wraps.
