Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf will star in Voltage Pictures and Wildwood Enterprises' adaptation of the Neil Gordon novel "The Company You Keep."
According to Variety, Redford will direct from an adapted script by Lem Dobbs.
The thriller centers on a former Weather Underground militant (Redford) living in anonymity who has been on the FBI's most wanted list for 30 years. He is forced to go on the run when a young journalist (LaBeouf) exposes his true identity.
Redford and Bill Holderman will produce through their Wildwood Enterprises along with Nicolas Chartier of Voltage Pictures.
Production begins this September in Vancouver.
LaBeouf can be currently seen in the smash hit "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."
Redford directed and produced Wildwood's drama "The Conspirator" earlier this year.
He was last seen on the bigscreen in 2007's "Lions for Lambs," which he also directed.
